The Fiat 500....every year cars are getting more smaller .

I sat in the 2013 Abarth they had at the LA Auto show this past weekend... very hot little car, seats felt great and the styling inside and out was nice. This and the Veloster turbo are making me want a new car soon...

I'd be interested to drive one, just out of curiosity. It doesn't look very sporty inside - it seems like it would be way too upright and trucklike inside - really tallish and tippy looking. The Mini was a surprise - low seats, tons of legroom, but the 2+2 setup wouldn't be too useful.

The Dodge Dealer in Binghamton is now selling the Fiat 500, and I've been checking them out very closely. I really like the size and styling (I've always been nuts about small cars). It's actually much roomier in the driver's seat than a Mini Cooper and fits me well.
I'm still leery of the fact that it's a Fiat, and made in Toluca, Mexico. Not the most confidence inspiring combination IMO. Also, as long as I am a gigging musician, and need to schlep guitars and amps around, it's a bit too small to live with. I'd miss the carrying capacity and flexibility of the Fit.
