So I sat in my classmate's GS350...and it is VERY NICE. so comfortable...i dont know, but i may be getting old and actually prefer the lexus plush ride rather than the "raw, direct feedback" feeling we get in our fits.

what do you guys think about that car?

Its due for a redesign...until then you should wait for either the newer model or
get a previous gen for less.

 

Lol I drive the GS350 about once a week. Smooth, powerful, and down right comfortable. One of my favorite luxury cars. A tad expensive though.

 

^why do you drive a GS350 every week?

also, the car looks really long...is it hard to control and do you ever have trouble parking it?

 

i've sold two 2nd gen GS300s, my brother had a GS400, and my dad currently has a GS300. they're great cars and quite reliable. the stock tires are horrible in the snow, the rear seat is a bit tight, and they are thirsty cars. the 2nd gens are getting to the age where they will need suspension work pretty soon.

 

Sorry I didn't notice your question. I manage a valet company here in baton rouge. We have 3 regulars that come at least once week that drive GS 350's. Parking really isn't a problem at all. It looks a lot longer than it is. But overall the car is great. Smooth, nice amount of power, and interior quality is very nice.

 

op- the fit's suspension (especially the GE) is pretty bouncy in stock form. you should look at getting aftermarket suspension with lower initial spring rate (progressive rate) backing it with a compliant damp setting. this will net you a nice plush ride on your Fit.

ive driven several different lexus sedans most folks have (no LFA ISF). they drive pretty boring. it's actually amazing how boring toyota made the car feel. it's definitely for someone who's not really into cars and just want comfort and a nice interior.

 

IS F is an amazing vehicle to say the least. I've only driven one and it was spectacular.

 

Years back I had the prior gen gs. You can definitely be a car fan and enjoy owning a lex. Check out some of the rides on clublexus.

My old gs handled pretty well after sway bars and tein coilovers. Not the same feeling as the fit, but 0-60 in under 6 seconds with rear wheel drive will please many car fans.

 

It's true, lexus have been seemingly put pleasure to car drivers especially with the latest series, which was actually featured in a popular auto show. In comparison with fit, there have been no doubt about, lex is competitive brand and sporty brand and sure everyone would be glad having one.
