hum... my cousin (or rather, her husband) in Cambodia has been using a modified Camry. I saw (and rode in it) first hand back in 2008. Apparently it's a "bi-fuel" conversion. He spoke about how if the NG ran out (tank in trunk), he could just switch it over to the traditional gas tank and keep going.

But what do you use to heat the water and keep it heated? A combustion engine is similar to a steam engine but cleaner and cheaper in the long run.

Its funny how they are going back to methane when they said it was the cause of global warming. I guess high octane is back and no way around it because of its benefits.

Most of the diesel/gasoline and oil is made from either methane or propane which is natural gas. Natural gas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i kave a friend that swears by CNG and until recently it was under 1 dollar a gallon (eq) to fill up his cars and ford f-150 truck - seemed like a normal truck (gutless) to me but his 2008 civic gx was awesome, he lowered it and put civic SI sway bars on it, what a riot to drive and it turned heads too - it got almost 40mpg if you drove it carefully on a trip

one more thing the parts arent cheap for this car - i work at a dealer and just one fuel injector is over $600 dollars and opposed to $100 dollars for a gasoline one , so buyer beware if you'r buying a used CNG car check it out extremely well!!!

Unburned methane (from cows, mostly) causes global warming. Methane in fuel is burned, that's a different story.

No that is what they want you to believe. Humans put out more methane and Co2 than cows and most anything. Then you have land fills that put out even more. I was at a land fill that just lets the methane go in the air not burned.

Right, THEY want you to believe something, it's a vast anti-cow conspiracy that the CIA and the French Secret Service are hiding from us, but somehow you found out about it.

Humans put out very little methane from our bodies. If you're putting out much methane I'd suggest you visit your doctor.

That's the truth! In the UK they have the VW Polo putting out an impressive 71mpg on diesel. That's impressive.
