What? Ray's MINI on SpeedHunters?

Just happened to be checking the news feed on my bookface and happened to stumble across this dumped MINI on SpeedHunter's Wall/Picture feed. :D

Looks like he's gotten Jaiden even lower since he had the Porsche wheels.

but it looks gross too and he is literally ruining the car. how can you call yourself a car enthusiast and sit back to watch this mini get its undercarriage ground down to bare metal??

It's his car, why do you care what he does with it? The car functions as what I'm guessing is a daily driver. I'm pretty sure the car performs that FUNCTIONS. So the car is not built the way you would, that doesn't make it wrong.

What bothers me about cars that are too extreme to be safely driven is that young people that are impressed by image are going to mess up perfectly good cars and end up having nothing to drive.... I know this to be true because I was young and impressionable at one time myself.

Is this guy like the most famous lowerer of cars of something? Anyways, I like it for what it is. Better than some VWs.

No he is a former fit owner. Drove his car into the ground and totaled it. But he was probably the lowest fit and IMO one of the sickest fits on the forums. He has a unique style but that's what makes it so sick. I'd rather stick out like a site thumb then look like everyone else

yea Rays Fit was pretty dope, though personally I was not a big fan of his car in its later stages.

Ray was definitely a guy who had a vision for his Fit and took it there without any doubt. I think that is one thing that happens when you start modifying your car to become the vision that you want it to be. Not everyone will understand the vision but that is what makes it your own. I guess I've been hanging around mini truck owners too long because I love the look of a slammed to the ground vehicle. I would have the Fit lowered to extreme but due to where I live, it would be hard to keep it looking like anything. However these guys who drive slammed and bagged vehicles are very keen on keeping them looking good and knowing how to drive them. Ok yes, sometimes they will lower them and drag frame but that is not a bad thing. I have a friend with a bagged limo (yes I typed limo). He got beside me on the way to a car show and started dropping that thing and I jumped because I hadn't seen him coming! We were driving side by side and laughing about it! I am sure the people behind us were scratching their heads. We also have a show where they have a limbo contest for the lowest rides - so much fun!

Thanks for the clarification. I figured that must be the case about him being an old forum member.

I like these types of cars--to look at. Just like stuff at most any custom or hot rod show. If I were into photography, it might even be worth it to have a "sick" thing to photograph and share with people. I think that's half the fun for some people who are really into extreme mods.

The issue i had was that he was one of the biggest haters on the site and blew you up if your car wasn't low enough didn't have the right wheels etc. The ultimate hypocrite.

^WHAT?

I don't remember Ray having issues with anybody, well the occasional squabble with Kelso but I don't remember him 'hating' on anybody.

That is true... I wonder how the Mini will look in a few years, that is if it last that long....
