My 1999 Honda Torneo SIR-T - JDM YO
I've had my Torneo SIR-T for about 4 years now, it was a complete factory Japanese import when I got it, completely stock standard. It's had a huge transformation from a stock standard car into what it is now. My goal for this car is basically to be a comfy, daily driver that is fun to drive with a bit of power up her sleeve and an emphasis on being clean and sleek. All while still being practical.
When I bought it she looked like this...
Over the last few years she's had a lot of various things done, 35% tints, suspension work, Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust and a few other bits.
As of last week she was sitting on EURO R struts with Apex'i lowering springs, this was a pretty nice drop, about 45mm from factory SIR-T (which is around 20mm higher than EURO R!). A set of 17x7 wheels completed the look...

For me the front left a little to be desired. It had to go lower!! The back I was/am pretty happy with as I want to have a slightly agressive semi-rake stance.
So I ordered some BC GOLD Coilover suspension and adjustable Hardrace rear camber arms. Last night I got it all fitted up and I'll let the pictures do some of the talking.
Let's be honest, we needed some WONGS!
Pulled out front struts and compared, there was a big difference on the rears too...
A few hours later, it was getting dark and late, decided to set the height roughly to where I want it, and take it for a drive to see the feel :) This suspension feels GREAT! so nice around corners and has pretty much no bounce or harshness, very very nice.
Looks pretty nice too :)
Since then I've set the coil overs exactly how I want them, wheel alignment completed and adjusted camber into spec with the new camber arms (sitting right on -1.5 all round).
You may also notice my new front has been sorted! EURO R front lip fitted and even the foglights. To install foglights was a bit of a mission as the SIR-T does not have the brackets on the car's chassis to mount. Paintwork done and a bit of plastic repairs to the lip to make it mint. Thanks to Rod Wood panel beaters for their great hard work.
I also got a new EZLip from the states which I think makes the front end look really sweet. Also helps protect the new paint from getting scraped. It does a fantastic job too, I've scraped the crap out of the EZLip and not a single scratch on the EURO R lip. The EZLip can take a beating and still looks awesome too.
After that, a decent wash and wax...
Some guard rolling
And Volia!
Please excuse the horrible photos, I have not had a chance to take any with my DSLR yet as I've been busy, but will update soon with some decent ones!
