Not really an update on my Porsche, but I have had a lot of requests for pictures of my widebody E36 M3, so instead of PMing everyone back individually, here are the pictures of it.

This is basically a recap of the past 4 years in 3 pictures, with the red black and white being the oldest and the car in black being the most recent.

I do automotive vinyl wrapping professionally, so changing the color of the car is easy for me. The original colors of red/black/white were painted. However, the matte white and matte black are vinyl wraps. Had the matte white for a month before going matte black. Just felt right. May just get the car painted gloss black later on, or if I feel ballsy enough, I'll redo the red/black/white theme again.

If you really want to follow more oft the progress on my other builds (my widebody M3, motorcycles, etc.), pretty much all of my pictures and updates on those will be posted through instagram, since I don't really feel like they deserve their own threads.

Don: No disrespect, you are obviously very knowledgeable mechanically, but why are you posting this Chevy V8/Porsche project on a Honda Fit forum???... maybe I missed the explanation? Why not post this on a Porsche forum, or other related forum?

Ahh.. OK, but when I look at his statistics it shows that he's had only 50 posts? Maybe it's about his vinyl wrap business as that seems to be most of the posts he started that are almost all in the For Sale forum area? And, nothing wrong with that, I just still don't understand why this is on a Honda Fit forum as I've seen nothing about Honda Fits, unless I missed it some where?

 

It's in other car related discussions. If you don't want me to post my updates/pictures here, then I can stop. Not an issue to me at all.

Don: I never said I didn't want you to post here, please don't get defensive. I'm just asking why you are posting on a Honda Fit forum about Chevy engines and Porsche. It obviously is impressive, but it seems like you would get better, more knowledgeable feedback on a related site?
Did the Porsche forum members not like what you are doing or something? ...I would imagine they are probably pretty touchy about it?
