hello everyone, took some pics with the new tails and rear sidemarkers installed. lmk what you think. it's been over a year since i've been here and am seriously considering trading in my tl for a fit. i want a fit because i've always loved the way they look and am looking forward to a lower car payment, insurance payment, better gas mileage. did some browsing and found the new fit that is coming out soon. i like it but i think i like the current style better. any tips you guys might have i'd really apprciate it.

Hmm... I'm sorta borderline on your decision of trading in your TL for a Fit. I love my Fit, but the TL's got a lot of luxury that you won't find in our cars. I do know you'll enjoy paying only $25-$30 (depending on gas prices) for around 350 miles a tank. :)

Dude you TL is sooo beyond clean, TL's are by far my favorite Acura! And in white they look amazing, and with those tails it looks even better! *Drools* i love your ride!

But dude you should really keep your car if possible, the Fit is a great car but not even close to the level your ride is on..Yes you can get a Fit to look SUPER clean, but it will never be as luxurious as your car..If you really need a lower priced car though, the Fit is the one, awesome handling, great features for the price, and a pretty good aftermarket seen! I doo recomend waiting for the 09 though, it will be better in everyway possible, either way, 08 or 09 you will be happy! Good luck, and keep us posted!

i wasn't comparing the two cars in any way. both cars are so opposite of each other, there's nothing really to compare. :p

i originally bought my tl because i wanted a family car that is reliable, safe, and comfortable to drive with some goodies. the tl was a perfect choice for me since it had all that. due to unfortunate events, my family car plan is no longer a go. to make it short, i no longer need the extra space, safety and luxury. i now need something good on gas and something i can haul my camera equipment around for photo shoots. like i've said on previous posts, i love how the fit feels and looks and can't really beat the price. :D

thanks for the compliments. :) luxury is no longer a necessity for me. i miss my rsx-s so much and truly regret getting rid of it. only draw back i see from getting the fit would be all the money i would spend on modding it up. spent a good amount of money on my rsx-s on mods and i can see myself doing the same w/ the fit.

Hmm that'd be a hard trade to get used to I'd imagine. If you're looking for some lower payments you might be able to get into a TSX or a new Accord for cheaper payments and still keep something with a lot of seating room and "luxury." But by all means if you want a Fit, I'm sure you'd enjoy it!

Hmm... I think a TSX in Premium White Pearl would've been a little of both, i really liked the TSX but it's a little too much for a first car :D
Plus my sister has an RSX-S in White Pearl so it's almost the same anywho

those payments wouldn't be too much lower like i would want. like i've been saying luxury is not a necessity for me anymore.

tsx's are nice but it's only like $5k less than my car so it's not a good choice for me since i want a much lower payment and save gas.
