Newest Buick SUV
I had originally planned to trade in my 04 Accord around 2014. I've had my eye on the new Buick Encore for the last 2 yrs. A beautiful compact SUV with 32MPG, Navigation, Rear-cam...the works!
Unfortunately my Accord's transmission decided to croak. (long story I'll tell in another thread) The Encore was not available yet, and out of my current price range. That's when I discovered the Fit, and I'm in love with mine!
I still have a soft spot for the Encore, and finally saw one in a parking lot. It's so cute, and I'm hoping one day to have it.
Any of you know someone who has one?

Well, as a Pontiac Vibe owner two times over, I see the Encore as a glorified Vibe with one BIG exception: the Vibe is a Corolla; the Encore is all GM. I personally will never buy a GM vehicle again. If I had it my way, they would be out of business. The Encore is just one example of how GM is winning the venus fly trap war. Chrysler was the champ for a while. These cars are venus fly traps in that they look exquisite, suck you in, and then devour you in maintenance costs. I have 3 non-US cars: the "Toyota" Vibe, a Hyundai, and now the Fit. If you want to spend money on luxury, spend it on a Lexus/Infiniti/Acura. With one of them, you'll at least spend your time driving your vehicle to places other than the mechanic.
