Mazda confirms plans to launch five new models in three years
Company seeks continued growth
Mazda has announced plans to launch five new models in the next three years.
The company declined to go into specifics but said this will be their biggest push since the Mazda3, Mazda6 and Mazda RX-8 were launched in the early 2000's.
Mazda UK Managing Director Jeremy Thomson also noted “Over the next 18 months to two years we will continue our very strong product-led growth which sends out an exciting message to our dealers." He added, “We’re predicting good times ahead while the rest of the industry is predicted to be relatively flat."
There's no word on what we can expect but the company has already confirmed plans to launch a new MX-5 in 2015. Other possible models include a new Mazda2, an entry-level CX-3, a Mazda6 coupe and MazdaSpeed variants of the Mazda3 and Mazda6.
