difference between the jazz vtec in australia and the jazz vtec in south africa?
they both comes with the same sporty body kits but how come the length of the jazz vtec (vti-s) is 3855mm where as the jazz vtec in south africa is 3845mm? why is it that the aus model is longer by the sa model by 10mm? beside that everything else is the same...unless in south african they put the sporty body kit on the normall 1.5 vtec (vti) in australia..or is there a typing error on the website??? i got the specs from this website http://www.honda.com.au/wps/wcm/conn...lour+and+Trim/

We use different measuring sticks in Australia.
They'd be much the same except if SA hasn't got the faclifted model yet that has a different body kit to the pre '05 Jazz sold in Australia.
Also as of April '06 the Australian Jazz is sourced from Thailand instead of Japan where they have been coming from since 2002. However the Jazzes out of the Thai Honda factory bound for Australia have no dimension change over the facelifted model from Japan just LED taillights and a LED high mount stop light and indicators built into the power folding side mirrors.
There was a delay in changing the sourcing of the Jazz from Thailand because they hadn't changed over to the facelifted model until 2006 so Honda Australia couldn't utilise the Thai - Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The Jazzes price dropped under the FTA while the specifications increased.
