Decided Against the Fit and went with This instead

Hey all dont put the hate out for me. After 2 months of research and much thought. I went out and purchased a new vehicle. I went with a 06 NightHawk Black Pearl - Si instead of the Fit. The MPG debate and after many different test drives I was sold on the Si. The fit is nice and is a whole lotta car for the money but for a few dollars more I got a pure sports car. The Si has the room that I need as the trunk is spacious, the performance is awesome and I have personally seen a 300 whp Si motor in Natural Aspirated form. Oneissue also was never being able to find a Fit to purchase, while the Si is not easy to find you can find one if you are creative. So sorry "Fitters" but I am completely satisfied with my NBP Si. Take a look see and tell me what you think. P.S. after 300 miles I'm getting an Honest 28 MPG, with 100% A/C and 75% city driving, I'm definately gonna get 30 MPG on my daily commute to work..Yippy....

looks great! I wish I could have afforded the Si...what is the price difference in the US? It is over $6000 up here and are hard to find, so no breaks from the dealers either :(

I would much rather have that car than a fit. Actually there are a lot of cars I would rather have, but I am getting the fit for the utility purposes. Nice car, looks awsome.

Yeah, I have to admit, even though I was looking for really great gas mileage, if I didn't have a 10 month old that I have to drop off at daycare a couple days a week, I would have added an Si to the fleet.

Luckily, I still have my 97 del Sol VTEC for days that I am alone and want to rip it up a bit.

The Si is a beauty. I thought about waiting for the Si sedan, but eventually price and the love of hatchbacks made me get the Fit. A friend of mine got an Si last week...I can't wait to check it out.

I heard the sound of that car is unbelievable in person... that's also a damn good handling car you got there. it won the thunderhill races when it just came out and check out what vtec.net says about it: "This is the sort of road that it was built for and there wasn't a car on the road this day that could keep up with it. In fact, there weren't many motorcycles that could keep up either."

Oooh, nice ride! That was sitting in the showroom when I picked up my Fit. I just needed something else. They are totally two different cars. Have fun! :)

If I would have a civic, it would had to be an si. But here, my fit was $17,300 USD, and the si was $25,900 so that leave me with no choice.

P/D I am very happy with the Fit!!!!!

CONGRATS!!!!

No didnt get the Navi....I at first wanted the Habenero Red, but it was sols out from underneath me while I was filling ou the paperwork...AArrgg...I went across town to a different Dealership, Sera Honda Birmingham...they had a NBP and it was mine after the test drive. Thanx guys for all the encouragements, in all honesty if a dealer had had a Silver 5 speed Fit Sport then I would be a Fit owner, couldnt find one in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, anywhere in the southeast so I said it was not meant to be. The Si was.....but I am so looking forward to a K20 powered Fit of the future..

You must deserve this car because it is not any thing like a fit... My self any many I have talked to make list. The car that matched my list the most was the Fit. Its like what some one already said. apples and oranges. I like em both. So I like to ask if you dont mind? do you have any buyers remorse? I ahve seen so many people that make car payments and dont event like or fit the car they bought... so true. I feel 100% with the fit.

unfortunately, I have buyer's remorse for my fit only because I couldn't wait to get one and got an AT. otherwise I love my fit :)
