Had some computer problems so I'm late posting this . December 1st I finally took delivery of my MR 5spd fit sport. Had deposits down at 2 dealerships since early July. Its taking the place of my 89 civic si hatchback with 294k on it. My new fit is the greatest thing ever . I couldn't be happier . I'm averaging 35.9 mpg with my last 4 tanks. I think my girlfriend is getting sick of hearing me talk about it all the time. I LOVE THIS CAR.

 

Congrats, I did the same swap (91 Si) and it has been a very fitting upgrade from that car.

While I'd say that the Fit is quite a bit less fun than an 89-91 Si, I suppose that the fact that those cars are getting a little old would take away from the fun factor just a bit.

I always wanted a CRX Si from those years, but I did have a few friends who had the Si Hatch and honestly, other than the 2 seater cool look of the CRX, the hatch made a lot more sense!

Though I am hanging on to my 97 del Sol VTEC, part of me would still love to find that 91 CRX Si with low miles...
