A City From Mexico

Hello Everybody

I wanted to show my new 2014 Honda City, i looked forward to purchase a Fit but i like the Sedans better and the Fit in Mexico does not come as equipped as the American ones

But the City (basically a Sedan Fit) does have more features

Sorry about the bad pics it was cold and raining

The back side kinda looks like a BMW

The Rear Vent is something i really liked

Also the Automatic Air Conditioning, and on the Honda Link thing i want to know if i can use an Ipod because i have an Android phone and i am not looking forward to switch to an Iphone

Also the Paddle Shifters is a nice addition tough

Nice. Thanks for sharing.
What kind of engine does it come with and what kind of automatic is it?
Are rear brakes discs or drums?
Would be nice to see the under the hood picture.

It has a 1.5L engine with 117 HP (Wish it had the Fit engine inn it) with a CVT

The Rear brakers are Drums ... i heard the previous gen had disk on them

No Fit in the US has ever had disk brakes in the rear.

There is a possibility what you see here may make it to the US market some time in 2016.

With good reason: the Honda Civic--which the new model will be unveiled today (16 September 2015)--is going more upscale, and that leaves a gap in terms of an affordable Honda four-door sedan model. The Honda City--powered by the same 130 bhp L15B engine on US-market Fits--could fill in that gap.

I just looked up the new Civic, and it looks great, definitely better than the current model, and yes you might be right the City would fit in very nicely

Actually my GF just bought a 2016 Fit, and yes you can definitely notice the 12 extra HP form that engine so if it had that engine inn it would be a very welcome addition, but i also noticed the suspension is way harder, almost as if it was an sport car

also compared to the other cars here and on the us (Sonic, Fiesta, Versam etc .. ) this is the best bang for the buck, only matched by the Mazda 2 (sorry no us either)

Here is a pic of the Dash, looks better at night (almost identical to the HRV not the Fit for some reason)

The dash shown is almost exactly identical the 2015 Honda Fit EX I drive. I expect Honda to make an announcement soon about the City coming to the US market and may show it at NAIAS in January 2016.

You realize you can put TPMS in pretty much any wheel, right?

The weird thing is that those Side Skirts come standard on the high trims here, but the high trim doesn't even have the 7 inch screen, it has the small 5 inch with the knobs stereo, i think it's not acceptable but it is what it is LOL

It comes from Thailand to my surprise

and it is not as efficient, it is almost 60 miles short in range compared to the fit

on average on regular city driving i get 28 Mpg with no Ecomode, i dont really like the ecomode because it limits the airconditioner (our average temp on summer is 104f) and limits the throttle response

Do Mexico have any aftermarket shops or companies that specialize in modifying Hondas? If so, what are their names?

Nice cars btw.
