O2 Replaced
The tip was getting carbon around it. So I ordered a Denso sensor from Rock Auto for my engine. It got here today and was installed after I got home from work. The first little jaunt seemed to have a bit better throttle response, meh.
My wife talked me into going to Bruster's for a qt. of sea salt Carmel ice cream, it was a very short conversation.
Drove bb down the hiway about 8 miles and got off and noticed even better throttle response. So hopefully as the carbon deposits burn off it'll get even better. : ^ )
I'll also check the mpg as it should get better also.
Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Drove Big Bird to the strip tonight, well almost. Came down to Artic and thought this is too busy tonight
for me and turned around and crusied back. But what I really wanted to do is see if the mpg was going up. 132 was last week for almost 1/2 a tank. Tonight I was 125 @ 3/8 of a tank. I know it's not as accurate as when. I fill up and do the math, but it's alot better. And no hesitation when called on.
It's the best 28.00 I've spent in a long time, bos!

Changing the PVC don't do it!!!
OMW what bad material the PVC is in. After the rubber fitting gets baked for 23 years it shrinks and turns brittle. This makes getting the plastic PVC out impossible. O well now I have a new valve and housing,

Installed the new PVC housing and valve. Had to remove the IM bracket to get to the hose in the catch can. Was it fun, no. but it's done and done right. So it's all good!!
