I can attest, that sitting in a car for 2 hrs a day .... raises my stress levels

This upcoming year, I'll be moving back north and it'll cut my commute in half. I'm sacrificing a bigger house, 1 garage space and nicer neighborhood but it'll be worth not having a long commute. Stress levels will go down and I can spend more time with my family. Bonus - I'll be able to pay off the mortgage at the end of the year since it has been a rental for several years and tenants have been paying down my mortgage.

 

Most of the time, I see stuck commuters on their phones. I could see how that would add stress, as they would not be able to easily Instabook because traffic decides to move.

 

I work an off shift.
Early to work, early to leave. And I like it. I miss a lot of the horrible commute everyone else has to face.
Sometimes on my weekends ( I get a workday off )...I get stuck in a work commuter traffic jam, and I'm shocked how bad it is, and can't imagine facing that type of commute every day, to and from work.
