We hope to get at least 20-25 Fits for the event and have every bring a friend. I will update this thread shortly so be on the look out especially for overnight arrangements.

The date has been set for a long time. Will we be having more events for Fits in 2017 with a new series that we should be announcing at the F&F event on December 17th. We will also update everyone on the forums and social media outlets.

Ok my interest is peaked. Glad there is a beginner class.

A few questions for a first timer.

1)Is there going to be a caravan up to SOW?
2)Do people typically get hotel rooms to spend the night?
3) What is the food/lunch situation like? Bring or buy?

Is there a confirmed sign up list on who is going?

I would love to make the trek from Texas to there but funds are a factor. Maybe next year.

We would if we could get enough Fit owners interested. Texas World Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, MSR Houston and Cresson would be a few ideal locations.

... And now back to the topic at hand. Lol

I know of 3 fit's personally if that helps. Maybe a Spec 2k and F&F combined event.

and I vote Cresson because it's close to me

sat & sun track days stay at the motel or camp. If its one day the drive isn't to bad with a redbull on the way home. For food I recommended you pack a cooler with "Lots" of water and I normally stop at subway on the way and get 2 sandwiches, but ya bring some food.

Have fun guys, wish i was back in CA in time

So here are some answers for you:

1) There are a few driving up the day of the event but a bunch of us will be staying near the track.

2) I have looked into a large house on Air B2B that we will rent. It will probably hold about 10 of us. The rate will be good but also requires a deposit that I will include in the rate but will refund everyone later (the total will still be cheaper then a hotel).

3) There are a few off site places to eat including a grocery store. I'd recommend bringing a cooler for drinks and snacks regardless.
