F&F at SOW (Fits and Friends)
We would like to invite all Honda Fit (and some non-Fit) enthusiasts to hit the track at Streets of Willow. This will be a fun event that will have different driving classes depending on your vehicles mods and driving experience. We also plan to PAX the lap times to make the racing friendly and fun.
Registration is now open at www.extremespeedtrackevents.com. The discount code to enter for the 12/17 event is "fitsandfriends". We hope to get at least 20-25 Fits for the event and have every bring a friend. I will update this thread shortly so be on the look out especially for overnight arrangements.

Date: Decemeber 17th, 2016
Day: Saturday
Address: Streets of Willow
3500 75th St. W
Rosamond, CA 93560
Time: 7am meet at SOW

The date has been set for a long time. Will we be having more events for Fits in 2017 with a new series that we should be announcing at the F&F event on December 17th. We will also update everyone on the forums and social media outlets.

Ok my interest is peaked. Glad there is a beginner class.
A few questions for a first timer.
1)Is there going to be a caravan up to SOW?
2)Do people typically get hotel rooms to spend the night?
3) What is the food/lunch situation like? Bring or buy?
Is there a confirmed sign up list on who is going?

I would love to make the trek from Texas to there but funds are a factor. Maybe next year.
We would if we could get enough Fit owners interested. Texas World Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, MSR Houston and Cresson would be a few ideal locations.
... And now back to the topic at hand. Lol

1) There are a few driving up the day of the event but a bunch of us will be staying near the track.
2) I have looked into a large house on Air B2B that we will rent. It will probably hold about 10 of us. The rate will be good but also requires a deposit that I will include in the rate but will refund everyone later (the total will still be cheaper then a hotel).
3) There are a few off site places to eat including a grocery store. I'd recommend bringing a cooler for drinks and snacks regardless.
