FS: 2009-2014 Honda Fit Draw-Tite trailer hitch
Hello Seattle Area Fit Freaks!
I have a 1 1/4" Draw-Tite Class 1 receiver hitch for for a 2009-2014 Honda Fit for sale. I bought it from etrailer.com for $124 and used it for about a year. It's in excellent shape and can easily be bolted onto your Fit in about an hour (read below how I've made it even easier). The receiver hitch worked great to haul bikes on a Yakima or Thule hitch mount rack and it also worked well to haul small utility trailers. Think you need a pick up? A Fit plus a small trailer is super handy for moving, hauling gear/toys, dump runs, etc.
$75 - local pick up near Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area
EASY INSTALL BONUS:
Despite what Draw-Tite and eTrailer.com tell you, these aren't 100% bolt-on from the factory -- they expect you to grind your car's frame rails slightly to insert the provided backing plates. However, I used my grinder to shave off a little bit of material so the backing plates *will* fit your Fit without modification. Without grinding on your frame rails, this keeps your car's stock finish 100% intact and when you remove the hitch some day, your car will be 100% stock again.
