I bought the 2 ton jack
try changing the wheels yesterday but the damn thing kept on slipping even I am on a concrete ground surface...
it has those roller wheels and I am surprised you can't lock the casters.
this is kind of dangerous and I don't want to jack up one wheel and the jack slips out on me
I think I will get the sissor jack instead.

it worked fine for me. It has to roll because of how the jack works. You position it at first but as the jack goes up, it will slide more under the car to centre it.
the weight of the car made sure it didn't roll once it was up.
Also, make sure the jack is perpendicular to the car so it doesn't roll. You car isn't going to roll sideways so the jack should be fine.
If the scissor ones make you feel more comfortable, by all means. No point in using this one if you feel unsafe.

yeah, its very scary to see the jack rolls away slowly as I jack it up,
I am not sure its try to postition the best support angle or not...
first time doing it and don't want to end up in the hospital
I spoke to my friend who owns an auto repair shop and he said I have to buy a heavy duty jack to be safe.
some jacks made from China; they may leak oil and cause trouble.
thanks

Most place charge around 20-25cad to swap all four wheels. Let's say from summer tires & wheels TO winter tires & wheels setup(straight swap w/out mount & balancing tires).
