Up for sale is the trailer hitch off of my beloved and now totaled 08 Fit. It's a Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch, bolts up super-easy. Class I 1-1/4 inch receiver, which is all the car can handle. Comes with a Curt 5" rise ball mount, perfect height for a standard Harbor Freight trailer. Also includes a Curt plug-and-play wiring harness. All you'll need are some 8mm bolts, a hitch pin and a ball. Installation instructions for the hitch and harness can be downloaded from the etrailer website. There is just one, completely inconsequential issue: the ball mount is stuck in the hitch receiver so tightly that I couldn't get it out, so I just left it in place. As of today, etrailer lists this exact hitch at $119, the harness at $36 and the ball mount at $28. Total new cost is $182. It's yours for $80.

I'm in the NY metro area and will gladly drive up to a couple of hours to get it to you, just to get the heck out of the house. Would rather not ship but if you want me to, I will... but fair warning: This is a large/heavy item and shipping will likely be so costly it wouldn't be worth it.
