10/12/2020: I have received a deposit to hold the Fit pending final transaction in 1 to 3 months.

I will update here if deal goes through, or if deal fails and car is available again. At this point, car is no longer available pending final transaction.

 

Who takes a deposit and waits 3 months for pickup? Sounds like you getting scammed more than making a real sale at this point. Because unless yours is made of solid gold there is no reason to do such things as a buyer. Like making deposit and waiting 3 months to buy a very common vehicle. These are for sale in every city and tons of them at that. Not hard cars to find at all. lol

I have a low mileage well maintained vehicle, set up for towing behind a motorhome. If it "fits" someones needs, why are YOUR panties in a twist? For what it is worth, I have been buying and selling my own cars from age 16 to age 64. I am capable of protecting myself when I engage in commerce.

You need a hobby besides harrassing other board members and making libelous claims. I read many of your older posts here. You have a long history of rude behaviors and comments.

I am not on your Ebay sellers page, your twtter account, and your FB page harrassing YOU. So stop harrassing ME, or get it back in return. I have the links to your pages saved.

 

Seriously. In my short time on this forum, that person seems like a real muckraker. Good luck with the sale!

If OP is getting scammed, what's it to you? Seller/buyer entered an agreement and the terms include a deposit to hold the car for 1-3 months; that's on them.

Also, for what it's worth, I've been looking for the past two weeks for a manual, Sport, 09-13 Fit, and I can't find any that are half-decent, so just because there are a ton for sale doesn't necessarily mean that the one you're looking for is available.
