FS: TEIN Street Basis for sale (less than 250 miles on them.)

The street basis rear have max drop of 2.5"...at this drop they only have about 1" max stroke before hitting bumpstop.
Fronts at full drop (also 2.5" drop") have maybe 1/2" of stroke before hitting bump stop.
Rode the street basis for 3 years lmk if have any other questions. Just swapped to bc racing yesterday.
Ps... The springs are so soft... if you have four people in your car average size you'll absolutely be riding on bump stops...if fully dropped 2.5".
Highy recommend not lowering these more than -1.75" to maintain ride quality.

Night and day difference. The basis are entry level and comfort oriented. For some that might be spot on.

I agree regarding jacking this thread. I will be looking forward to your review on the BCs. Also, would you have any reason to say that the Street Advance Z or the Flex Z are equivalent to the BCs?

Not to knock Tein, even if they are "chinese" now, they are good quality. they have minimal to no sag after 3 years, never made noise ...as in things working loose. I feel like the shocks are blown, but thats my fault for riding them max drop...but they never made noise. Never showed any rust (live in southwest however) .Overall they are pretty damn good for the price.
Before buying em, i knew i wanted higher spring rates, but got them really cheap brand new so i went for em. For someone interested in comfort and wanting a modest drop theyre totally worth it.
But i like stiff and sporty.

If it's between the TEINs and some lowering spring, go with the TEINs and you get a perfectly matched spring and damper, it's a no brainer.
