OEM Honda Fit Hood Edge Deflector :

2007-2008 Honda Fit Hood Deflector.

Although this item is sadly used, it is infact still in very mint condition with no major blemishes or defects. Now you can protect your Fit with this factory hood deflector. Hood deflectors redirect the air over the top of your car, thus minimizing dirt, bugs and anything else that would otherwise get on your windshield. Made from 3mm smoked acrylic and includes all mounting hardware for a quick installation.

- Designed to follow the contours of the hood.
- Helps keep the hood and windshield clean by redirecting the air up and over the roof of the car.
- The flow through design at the front will not trap water and debris.

Retails from Honda Canada for: $162.43

Asking: $100 OBO

Please note that I am a Canadian resident, and would first and foremost prefer to sell this locally, but I am more then willing to ship if need be. Also, I don't frequent FitFreak as often as I would like, so if you are infact seriously interested you can get ahold of me at: JDM_EK3@shaw.ca

Question I bought it too, not sure about it yet.

Dude, I saw your car on zeta product so I bought mine. I have a sport grill, I guess you need to get used to it. So now I'm thinking about taking it to a body shop having them match the silver metallic color of my fit and smacking a fit emblem in the middle of it to see if it picks up a better look.

no i do not have one. i want one and i know it isn't mint and he doesn't say it is. i would rather have an OEM product than a replica. Even though the quality may be similar, i just want OEM.

I'm confused...I didn't know there was an OEM hood deflector. OEM means made by Honda in this case. Ours came from Zeta and is made by Form Fit. IMO it's not the best looking, but has saved the front of the car. We had 3 dings in the first 2 weeks of ownership. Since adding the deflector, we haven't had any more.

just because something is OEM, doesn't mean it is literally made by the automotive manufacturer. you think the OEM floormats are made by the same people that make the car? hell no. things like that are made by other companies and such. the lowering springs for teh toyota cars are badged "TRD" but they are actually made by progress lol

This has been thoroughly explained in multiple threads- just look.
The OEM deflector sold by Honda dealers IN CANADA ONLY are made by Form Fit.

Zeta Products in New Jersey is the only American dealer for FORM FIT. Honda does not make the deflectors that are sold as OEM deflectors in Canada. Form Fit makes them. Zeta Products SELLS the OEM deflectors in the U.S. NO ONE ELSE IN THE U.S. SELLS the OEM deflectors--- not even U.S. Honda dealers.

Got it now?

well no shit sherlock. i worked for a wheel company and we made TRD wheels for........you guessed it, TRD. Most jobs go to the lowest bidder if the Main Mfr can't make it for the bid given. This is how the world turns. Everything goes to the LOWEST bidder then they stamp their name on it. Even when I was a machinest and we did sub work for Boeing, you think boeing didn't "make" it theirs?

Let me say that I like things that are sold through Honda with their stamp on them. that better?
