...looks like the rear dampers are leaking ???

umm the back ones are independant springs too. thats not right... unless im just mistaken

 

i think he just has em on there for the pics cause if you look at the shock theres nowere for the perches to sit or screw on

 

i think he just put the coils around the rear struts and the collars off to the side.


and they do look like they are leaking

 

yea i noticed it now. i dont pay attention to the obvious

 

The only time leaking/seeping is a problem is when its coming from the seal around the center shaft.
If its leaking there the struts/shocks are worn.

People that are interested in this with the US Fit. Remember these are for the JDM Jazz/Fit. Mods will need to be done to the rears.

 

All 4 dampers are 100% working fine, my friend is selling this because he just sold his Jazz. He is a weekend driver and rarely drive his Jazz; this is the reason he sell his car and this set is not very old (just used for around 12000km.

If you are not sure about the conditions, please feel free to ask me. The black plastic thing is the original dust cover from HKS.

If u need to see which part of the dampers, please let me know and I can take close up pictures for you.

The rear springs and dampers are seperate, I put them like this is just for easier photo shooting.

you mean the front

 

If the front is different, you should be talking about the "dog bones" which is a thin metal rod on each side connecting to the front dampers. I can supply this to the buyer so no need to do modifications, just install directly. Even in Hong Kong, we have 2 types of "Dog Bones".

 

The easy way around this is just have him send the factory bolts for those dampers and then you wont have to mod them at all and you also get camber bolts to boot at the same time
