ok like the title says i wanna trade my 08 horn for your 09 horn the 08 horn to me is NOT a honda horn and i want the road runner sound back again and i found out that the 09 has the "REAL" honda horn in it, why thay put a loud crappy one in the 07-08 ill never know but if somone would like to sell or trade me there 09 horn let me know thanx

 

Thank you for being like me. Me and you are the only people that seem to like the 09 horn. It sounds like a Honda/Import. Not the cheesy OEM Neon horn we have now. I have dual loud ass horns now. I threw the OEM one away, after I smashed it.

I heard an 8th gen Civic owner that changed his awesome horn to the Fit OEMer.
Id just go to the dealer, spend probably $25 on the horn.

 

yea the dam gd3 horns sound like a domestic car horn and i hate it, but when i heard the 09 " a real import horn" i was pissed LOL like why did thay skip the 07-08 and put the good one in the 09 i guess thay relized that thay messed up .

hahahaha sorry for the thread jack that made my day too. and i agree you can go to the honda dealer and get one for a 06-08 civic they have the great "meemp! meeeemp!" sound.

I like the 07-08 American car horn. I've owned 9 hondas over the last 8 years and all the same beep beep and the new HOOONG HOOONG is a change.

I actually like the GD3 horn. I had an ES1 (02 Civic) and I didn't like the high-pitched "meemp." I'd change mine out for something different but I rarely use my horn anyway.

 

I actually just purchased a new horn for an 08 accord for my 09 fit, i hate the road runner meep-meep noise, so as soon as I get the new one in the mail and install it, I'll sell you the older one (3 week old)

 

Man...i heard the 09 horn yesterday...much prefer my GD's. haha.
