Thumbs up FS: Custom made SRI intake for GD3 Auto or Manual $30

SOLD! Thanks 08fithappy!
UPDATE:
The intake is packed and ready to ship. Here are the specs:
14"x9"x8" box, weighing 4.5 lbs.
Take those numbers and you can go to UPS or USPS.com and calculate the postage to your zip code. Then tell me what the total is $30 + your calculated shipping, and if you feel obliged, add .90 cents (if you want to pay with paypal) and then send me the funds either paypal, money order, or certified bank check, no personal checks. well hidden cash, but that's a last resort.
Any more questions, just ask!
(Also will entertain best offer...)
Just like the title says.
See the pics.
Shortly after installing I realized I could keep the rubber tubing from the fender and insert it into the cone filter. This made it more stable and get even cooler air. This is a good design since it moves the filter a bit from the radiator, without any fears of hydrolock.
Reason for selling: Got an awesome deal on a Fujita CAI, couldn't pass it up (thanks Andy!)
It's got a few thousand miles, but I just cleaned the filter not long before swapping in the Fujita.
Some specs:
2.5 to 3" silicone 90 degree elbow from throttle body to 3" aluminum piping, then 3" cone filter.
Has plug for MAF sensor and vacuum line. Everything you see in the pick is included. I also have a second 90 degree 3" piece of piping that I'll include as well if you want to get creative. This clears the battery, but you'll have to push it over a centimeter or so (just loosen the battery tie down and give it a shove)
Looking for $30, local pickup. Will also ship but will probably be around $45 or so, depending on where you live (Domestic only though please)

if you need or want more info just PM me, if you're local I'll install for you too.

THANKS!!!

Thanks. How's the Apexi setup treating you?

I've seen awesome Intake air temps with the Fujita on my scan gauge. I know the SG can be a little inaccurate but there's definitely a big difference between air from the wheel well and air from the upper fender/radiator area!

After you mentioned hydrolocking, of course we hit some huge rainstorms/flash flooding when I got back in Florida. But I'll be happy to report no problems arose

Anyway, someone pick this up and save some big $$ over a brand name setup. I don't do R & D or dyno results but I'm betting their similiar!!

I'll entertain offers as long as they aren't "how about I just pay shipping?"

I'm loving the apexi setup. Definetly not as good as the CAI but i like it. And im glad the fujita is doing well too. Its cool that you can monitor the air temp with the scan gauge. And im glad that the water isnt causing you any problem either. I'm just kinda a worry freak. LOL

Bought The cold air Fujita from the guy above who's thread jacking with his own pics... J/K!

Otherwise I'd have kept running with it, but the Fujita just looks cooler. And I'm a brand name whore sometimes...

Anyway, the Apexi looks cool. I like how the piping matches the texture/look of the intake runners. Like it's stock or a factory option or something. Glad it's working for ya.

SRI FTW!!!! BUMP!

Could be, since a company had me do test fittings and this intake is the result of it. It's still cheaper than the ebay ones and I'll entertain reasonable offers. Butt dyno confirms some gains but obviously no paperwork on it.

HAHAH. I thought you might say that. But i was planning to take them down after you got a chance to take a peek =]. hahha. But bump for a cool dude! Your sri looks pretty much identical to the fujita SRI, and I did like how you ran the filter to the little rubber cone thingy.

C'mon! Where ya gonna get short ram air for $30 bucks?
Scangauge def. showed improved/decreased intake air charges. Sounds cooler/aggressive, and if you go easy you get the same and maybe better MPGs!

If you're local I'll install, if not, I'll ship it nice and safe. Fits Auto or Manuals!
