I just bought the Acura TL key on ebay from a dealer a couple weeks ago thinking I would use it on an GE, then right after it shipped I found out that the 09 has a different FCC ID and uses the 09 TSX switchblade so I ordered that. So now I have a brand new blank 07-08 TL key for anyone here with a GD that wants to buy it from me.

I would love to get me one of these but how to do you go about changing you key into it. Is it a tedious job or a simple change of screws. And the programming of the doors :\ hmm

 

The seller offers a 30 day money back policy on all but electrical. Does the seller consider this key as electrical?

 

I'm not sure about any of their guarantees, it's been over 30 days since I bought it from them anyway... I just got the wrong one from them and need to sell it now...

The GD3 owners have it easier (cheaper) than I did... I have to get my immobilizer programmed and the key cut... the GD3 owners just have to get the TL key, swap out the immobilizer chip and set it to lock/unlock the doors, then only pay to get it cut at the dealer...
