Spoon Magnetic Drain Bolts.

Only the oil bolt was used and the tranny bolt is still Brand new in bag along with three brand new washers. I only used the bolt for less than 3,000 miles before I removed it to sell my Fit.

NOTE: I had this on my car with a manual transmission. I think this would only matter if the tranny bolt is being used but I believe the oil bolt is the same for both auto and manual.

They are magnetic and "attract" metal shavings that accrue during driving. Supposedly helps the wear and tear on the engine/tranny.

 

Isn't our transmission bolt already magnetic?

Not sure. I did not even get a change to change the tranny fluid on my car.
It did capture a lot of metal shavings when I removed it though. I wish I took a picture of it to actually show all the metal shavings it captured. It was all fuzzy.

all honda use the same drain plug so anyone could use the drain bolt. auto trannys use a bigger bolt so it wouldnt fit on an auto.
