FS Project µ BBK

****S*O*L*D****

Got the PF01 today and....NO GOOD! Clearance was even worse than with my SA-70's. So that means these are back up for sale.

SALE ON HOLD AS OF 2/2/10
If you've been following this thread you read about my interest in seeing if these'd clear Enkei PF01's which weren't scheduled to be released until 2/15/10. So I pre-ordered them thinking that if I didn't sell them by the 15th I'd see if the worked w/ the PF01's. Well I got an email from Tire Rack today and they came in early and have already been shipped to me. So, my apologies to the guys that have been pm'in me about payment options, but now I have to wait 'till they get here to try them out. I still have to see if they'll clear AND if I like the way they look, so check back because they may be back up for sale. Thanks for your patience.

Bought these second hand after confirming w/ Mackin Industries that they'd fit 15" wheels; THEY DO NOT! You'll need 16" or bigger. My loss, your gain: $1,500 shipped to the lower 48. They'd be mint except for two things: missing one of the four small safety R-clips for the pad support bolts (a little overkill IMO, but you can use a cotter pin instead--hard to find the R-clips this small); and a small nick in one of the brake lines' outer teflon coating--still completely functional since they're braided stainless steel underneath. Pads show very little wear--no need for new ones. Rotors are 300mm; not sure of the thickness and I already packed them up for shipping. Posting only one pic here. If seriously interested you can view all the pics by looking at the album I posted on my public profile (left click on my user name for the option).
One more thing: would be very interested in trading for a BBK package that would fit 15" Weds SA-70s.

What You Need

You really don't need two kidneys--just a thought.

Spacers

Been there, and beyond. Nothing to do but move up in wheel size; which I won't.

Okayyy, let me get this straight.......So if HKJazz sell one of his kidney, by weeks end he will be able to afford this for his car or perhaps have it on the car and ready to roll?

Anyway, GLWS

Who needs two kidneys anyway

And probably have some coin left over for the turbo upgrade he's been saving for.

does it not just fit inside the barrel of the rim or it hits the spokes of the rim?

Clearance

They touch the inner raised blue lip of the wheel which extends inward about 7/8" behind the spokes; way too much for a spacer. Check out the pic in the album (although you can't see the blue of the lip because the pic is taken from the inside, but you get the idea). They clear the spokes fine.

What fits

The only 15" wheels that Mackin Industries states for sure they will fit are volk TE37's. There may be more, good luck finding them. I do not recommend this size for 15" wheels.

Marco!!! I know Enkie had the New wheel come out, it is call PF01. You may want to check it out and see does it fit the BBK, then you don't need to sell it.

free bump!

but in my opinion, i think you should just keep them and make them work with a different wheel. these are badass brakes.

Pf01

Alex told me about these back in November. Their release date is Feb 15 (At least at Tire Rack which has the best rep/return policy if they don't fit). They're an OK wheel, but they're just not as uber-baller as the Weds. If they don't sell by the 15th, I'll try one out. Thanks for the thought.

Keep 'em, don't keep 'em?

Damn you Kelsodeez! Don't make this any harder on me than it already is. You know the minute I sell 'em I'll be regretting it.

What R U Talking about?

Whoa out there. Did anyone else out there misunderstand my post? The only thing "missing" is a tiny R-clip which I don't even think is needed, but which you could substitute a cotter pin for. Everybody out there get that?
