The above is a copy/paste from my craigslist ad. Here's a bit more info:

Current miles = 40,653 (still being used as DD)

I owe $12,800 on the car. But I can get a $2000 loan to help with some of that negative equity. So selling price is $10,800. It will drop about $250 every month as I make payments.

So I'm looking for outright purchase or takeover of payments.

Two tires are low on tread. Will last thru next winter. Rotating them to the back here soon.

One wheel is scuffed.

AUX port does not work. Needs the cable that goes in behind there that connects AUX port to stereo deck.

12v adapter does not work. Not sure why. Have never looked into it.

I love this car, especially the MPG! But I'm wanting to go to college to major in Finance, and my car payments + full coverage insurance is getting in the way of that. I am VERY motivated to sell, but I am only flexible up to $2000 below what I owe.

Thought I'd add a bit of personal info, since this is less of an impersonal ad than that of craigslist or what-have-you.

Sure is! Have had two buyers back out. Both were Honda fans. One bought a new one; the other's wife didn't want him getting a manual.

Has been on the market over two months now.

 

If you had the stock wheels to put back on you would broaden the number of potential buyers.

The accident is not shown on CarFax cause it was so minor. Just surface scratches and the front lip cracked.

I'm not sure. I purchased it just how it sits today, with two exceptions:
1) installed factory stereo
2) incident I already explained

I know it's not the ideal Fit, but it's a good price I think.

 

Anybody looking to drop 10k+ on a new(ish) car with that low miles, especially a Honda are going to expect everything in working order. I know it sounds like you're strapped for cash right now but going the extra mile and fix those few minor things will really help your buyer market.

 

There's absolutely no more money. I certainly can't afford stock wheels, unfortunately. "/ Much less a spoiler and front lip, each for $200 or more... Those plus wheels... We're talking at least $800.

dude there is a guy selling a NHBP spoiler for 150 shipped in the FS section that would help the sale. just saying, also you dont have to buy the sport alloys maybe something off a older civic or integra. they go for cheap!!!!!! i wouldnt really worry about the front lip
