Thanks man. You're the second GD owner to express interest. If they used the same harness this would be way easier to sell. Guess the GE guys would rather pay more and wait longer to get one directly from the vendor, IDK.

Electronic Throttle Controllers (like this one) are easy to install (minus a 11pm install with brain farts) and make driving so much more fun!

Nope, this is from the replacement batch. I had one from the first batch, which worked fine, but had it replaced under the recall to be safe. I decided to sell the replacement before it arrived, only because I could use the cash for other things.

I just recd it. Damn Customs hit me for duty of $18.

Anyhow the instructions are in Japanese? The pictures have me confused. The box/ display has one larger male plug with two pins. I suspect that plugs into where the diagnostic plug is? the smaller white one? I haven't a clue.

I also got a separate cable which has two larger plugs. One is male and one female. Also a smaller white one that does match up with the other smaller white one on the first cable.

Anyone have their English instructions? If so could you PM them to me?

Ok...

Above the gas pedal there is a plug...

unplug that plug from the gas pedal and plug one end of the 2 headed cord into that plug you just unppluged, and one end into where you just took it out of. To "complete" the circuit.

Got that?

Thanks A
It is a bitch gettin old. Ask Dee.

Anyhow I realized after I asked that it has to be hooked into the gas pedal line as well.

I will try it out in a few days. All of a sudden things are getting busy around here and Fit time is scarce.

Sorry about the late response, I just got back from vacation and finished settling in. The instructions are pretty worthless, but there's a great DIY with photos at AJR's thread for the throttle controller (linked in my post up top) My first unit was a PITA, because the fitment on the male connector to the female OEM throttle harness was off, and I had to sand the connector a bit to get it to fit. Other than that, installation was a breeze, though, so I hope you got it all sorted out. Hope it works out for you!
