You must not be looking at an 2008 Fit. I had the tag light off and it is a SEALED UNIT the bulb is not replaceable

It is not a sealed unit. I have an 07 fit and the 08 is the same. I changed my bulb to led and is how I changed mines

i followed the directions FITFITFITFITFIT gave out and its correct. you CAN replace that bulb, its not a sealed unit. i used a flat head to remove to clips instead of using my fingers, made it alot easier. pm sent!

I've never seen a license plate light housing that's sealed

I just ordered one of his kits and installed it last week.

It's most definitely not a sealed unit.
