F/S: Custom audio - Fiberglass sub box and wing window pods
Well guys it's been fun but it's time to move on from our beloved Fit. I built this enclosure and window pods out of fiberglass and have used them with no issues. They sound good and work well. The window pods require no modifications to the pillar and the sub box drops into the well. The spare and possibly the jack will have to be relocated to allow it to fit. I would like to sell relatively locally, but I will be willing to meet within a few hours of Knoxville, TN. The sub box will include the cover which fits all of the contours of the trim panels and is sturdy enough to hold nearly anything. The entire enclosure only raises the floor level 3/4" and the carpet that I put on matches the OEM and is designed to take the OEM covers place (where it attaches to the back of the rear seats.) The sub enclosure is covered in a charcoal colored formica on the exposed portions and the covers are backed with expanded metal for strength and durability.
The equipment (speakers and amps) are available for sale but NOT included in the sale price.
The mid range pods - $200
The sub box and cover - $500
These prices may seem high but if you price them at a local shop should be much more.
Here is a link to the install page so that you can see: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/388189...t-hatchback-4d
Feel free to ask questions and the prices are OBO. The goodies are in a GD and should only fit a GD. The sub box might fit a GE.
I'm trading the Fit in tomorrow so everything will be pulled out tonight.

It sounded great! My wife even commented on how much better than the OEM setup (though I know it's not hard!). I had a JL XD700/5 bridged on the fronts. With about 200 watts of power it rocked! I would've liked to have used a processor and gone active but there wasn't time or room for the extra equipment in the hatch. I was surprised how good they sounded with the supplied crossover.
