I would guess that they can be cleaned pretty easily. When I get home next Tuesday, I'll try with a a scrub brush and some house cleaner, and let you know how it goes.

I would guess that it will be pretty easy to get these to look pretty clean. It might take a bit more work (and a scrub brush and a hose/ample supply of water) to make them look "new".
They've been laying flat on the floor of my apartment since I took them out of my fit (which I totaled, which is why I'm selling the mats). I will fold the larger rear mat in half to ship (which is how it was shipped to me). If there are any problem with that one, my guess is that setting it out in the sun for a few hours will return it to its original shape.
