FS:VBP '08 Fit Sport R Outside Mirror Housing/Actuator - Missing Mirror Plate - $30

About a month ago, I was driving in Chicago along a row of construction barrels. One stuck out a little more than the rest and I wasn't paying enough attention, and boom - you guessed it - the back of the housing struck the barrel, flipped the housing back and sent the mirror plate flying off into pieces.

Rather than mess with trying to replace the mirror plate only - which Honda dealers refused to do for me, saying the parts don't marry well - I wound up buying a used complete mirror and installed it myself.

Here's what's left: Right outside VBP '08 mirror housing, cable, electronics and actuator. All that's missing is the mirror plate and the backing screws into the actuator.

BTW, the electronics still work. Before I replaced it, I tried using the inside control and yes, the actuator still moves and hums like it should.

I figured someone might need the housing or internals only, so offering it up here.

There is a scratch on the back of the housing where it hit the barrel. It's not obnoxious, just mentioned in the spirit of full disclosure. I'm not able to post attachments here but if you PM me with your email address, I'll see if I can get them to you.

$30 plus shipping from 53214.
