Selling my Kraftwerks Rotrex supercharger base kit for 5 Speed Manual Transmission 07-08 Honda GD3 fit. I bought this new and put roughly 16,000km on it since August 2012. Over the past 4 months the rotrex started to generate a whine, and just yesterday almost seized up. I've pulled ALL components off of my car and have packaged them up. Includes everything the kit comes with. Most of the components still have oil in them, and I also captured as much rotrex fluid as I could. I would suggest buying a new bottle of rotrex fluid and a filter but you could also just use what I've included.

The Rotrex unit WILL NEED to be repaired or replaced. I know there are some online sources that will repair them for $500ish, and just a few weeks ago there were two units on sale on eBay for $1000. I'm asking $750 US plus shipping for this kit. This kit was the very last base unit kit Kraftwerks ever produced. I mostly autocrossed with the car and it dominated. Awesome power band, instant power, etc. These kits are becoming very rare. Blades on the compressor are mint. Unit never ran out of fluid, I'm guessing it had a faulty bearing.

Which base kit is this for? The manual or auto?

 

I completely forgot they made two kits for different transmissions. This is for manual transmission.

 

Yeah, its a bit of a shame they didn't sell too well despite the amount of "interest".

If you wouldn't mind shipping to the US, then I may be interested in the kit. I've been looking for a high boost kit for a while and haven't found one yet... I'd just have to find the conversion kit for this one.

 

I'll definitely ship to US. Yeah these kits have almost completely disappeared. Not sure what the difference is between the manual & auto with the kit.

 

The key difference is the compressor unit itself. Manual base/high boost get the C15-60s and the automatics get the smaller C15-16 or C15-20 (I forget which).

A couple more questions...

How is the condition of all of the other pulleys and the belt as well?

What is the condition of the drive belt? Is it still ok or does it need replacement?

 

Pulleys are all in great condition. No noise from them at all. The belt is in like new condition, but I also have a brand new belt I had purchased when I bought the kit (figured I should have a spare on hand). That will be included in the box (and yes I forgot I had that until you mentioned it, now I have to tear the box open, lol). Like I said I put roughly 16,000km MAX on this kit, so that's under 10,000 miles.

Fack if this would work on the auto I would snatch this up in a heart beat. I wonder if there is anyway to make this work. I will email kraftwerks asap. If there is a way it may be able to work I will be paying you immediately. EDIT- NVM don't know how I missed that this was sold, thanks anyways.
