Low mileage 2007 or 2008 Sport AT

Just in case someone is thinking of selling their 1-owner, low mileage Fit...Texas locations, Houston area is even better...Can do VBP, TWB, BBP, TW, maybe SSM...no black and no red please. The mythical Lunar Mist color would be phenomenal, I have never seen one in person.

I probably won't find a BBP one like the one that drowned, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here.

I don't need mods b/c mine was stock. Oh and no smokers please.

Thanks.

Well I ... err... ummm ...

I googled and saw a 2007 Taffeta White Sport with 36,000 miles on the odo and I thought...well...I do know the car's faults quite well and can live with most of them...however that one was sold.

I do want a bigger and more comfortable car, but our budget isn't unlimited either. Insurance only gave me $7500 for my car. I also don't really like the look of most cars and SUVs right now. I think they look angry or spiteful, not cute and adorable like our Fits!

But there are fewer of them on the market all the time, and almost none with low miles. So I probably will end up with a Rav4, blah.

$7500 should definitely be enough for a really, really nice GD3.

That is, IF I can find one! :P

I guess the Lunar Mist color was only offered in the Base model? I didn't know that. Well at least I can give up looking for that color...

I ended up with a Blue Crush Rav4 with 35,000 miles on it. It's a 2014 so a lot newer with several features I like quite a lot. I was sitting next to a TW Fit the other day in traffic and really noticed how small these cars are...I never felt that way about my car but they are pretty tiny. I still miss my BBP Fit and I'm sure I will for some time. Hardly ever see them on the road any more. Even the new models don't seem to be selling like hotcakes as the 2008s did for a while. I will post a pic for you guys at some point.

Nice! Rav4's have a strong following. I'm sure it will treat you well. Maybe not be as nimble/fun as the Fit, but I bet it will win you over in comfort and convenience.

It's quite a lot more comfortable, not surprisingly. I don't feel every little bump in the road as I did in the Fit, and it's tons quieter. Hubby lobbied for getting a Limited, but it would have been more expensive and this one meets my needs without pretending it's a Lexus. Rav4s were being shipped in from all over the country in the days following the flood, we were literally "flooded" with them. To the point where Carvana could have changed its name to CarRav4. I was hoping to get a 2012 which was the last model year they had the full-sized spare on the back, but that's 6 years old now and the mileages are just too high, plus it does look quite dated in styling.

The 2014 is a good compromise, it's modern without the long snout and angular styling the 2015s and up have. And the current blue is so bright and crayon-like I was happy to find this one. In the photo online it even looked purple.
