Its the banners, once people try to get too fancy it messes it up. Stick to static banners, the animated ones, while cool, do nothing but annoy and reduce the enjoyment of the same site they are trying to advertise in. Hence they end up losing users, and views, because people will go elsewhere. Admins take note, no animated banners please. If your client insists on animation, tell them to pay you extra to get faster servers.
