wow, imageshack has been completely hacked, calling IT guys and admins

wow, imageshack has been completely hacked, calling IT guys and admins

It appears that every single image shack image has been compromised!!!!!!!
Not sure I understand the message tho, but all image shack pics hosted here have become this

Hey gimme,

about half of my images on IS were compromised but most of them are back to normal now, I am sure imageshack is trying to disable the hack.

kind of like what that that person in the thread linked said, I dunno what the purpose is of doing that. I mean I read their little statement but hacking imageshack does spread the "message", but has no real effect IMO

I hate all these image hosting - why can't we just access our pictures and copy and paste direct to the forums - oh I know why - that would be
too easy!

well cuz of pic size limitations, and bigger files eat up server space and they can slow down server speed. With just the typed word here and bigger files hosted elsewhere you dont outgrow a server so fast which can be a pain in the butt.

anyway that group, Anti-Sec, their gripe is security blogs publishing vulnerabilities before going to the vendor who created it and giving them a heads up. Therefore handing tools to hackers. Which results in more business for you if you are in the IT security business. It is a twisted world we live in
