The Time is Near...

Well the time is near for the Texas Fit Meet: Vol 3. I want to leave this one up to you guys. For those of you who did not attend Vol 1 or 2, don't be shy. And for those of you who have attend one or both of the other meets, you have an idea of where I want this to go. I'm not exactly a car show kid, but lets not rule out car show type of events. So feel free to put in your two cents.

I would like to schedule this for sometime in late August. I think the weather will be somewhat pleasant, but I could be wrong. All ideas will be taken seriously.

I'm diggin it. Can't wait. My 2cents would just be to have it in houston or somewhere like that. Because the long drive kinda keeps me from going. If we did do it somewhere far dallas is about the same as an austin drive for me. So dallas would be ok. Its whatever. I think i'm gonna take a little more time off for this one. So that i can hang out longer. l'm up for Houston defenitly tho. Dallas or Austin could be iffy. Hell to be honest i wouldn't mind like St. Padre or something else but that would be hella far away. but i'm really tired so i think i'm just rambling at this point. I'll come back when i'm more awake

Bigtoepfer-

Perhaps, you could relocate to Great State of Texas?

I have an idea...

Track 21 Houston Indoor Karting

It's suposed to be the best place in the houston area for go kart racing. It looks to be a little steep in the wallet but if I can get enough people interested I might be able to get a group rate discount. What do you think?

Late August is good for me. As of the place in Houston that sounds intresting. I guess for vol.3 you can make it a whole day event thing, since lots of people request it on vol.2. Jason if u host it here in Houston what are ur plans>>hit up an event, cruise, do a shoot, and eat??

That would be awesome to see some fits tear up the drag strip! HAHA. Indoor go carting sounds fun too, I was wanting to do something like that for my birfday, July 17!! Woo Woo!! Partay time! LOL

I just found out about the...

Texas A&M Sports Car Club Open Autocross Practice, unlimited runs from 9:00am till 4:00pm.
Non-members:
$20/Day, $30/Weekend
August 23-24.
Google Maps
State Highway 47, College Station, TX 77807

This is a lot cheaper than racing Go-Karts, and I bet it's going to be 100 times more fun (at least for me).

Google Maps

See if this one works better. I know 9:00am is early, but when you grow old and gray you will still remember this day! I promise!!

General Exclaim UHP

Its just soooo cheap. And actually has some good reviews.

not my first tire choice but if your trying to save i would say go for it. i got a set of these for my old accord at walmart. i think i paid 242 for all four tires mounted and balanced. they went through quite a bit of hard canyon driving with no problems and they had great wet traction.

I'm contacting all the Houston area go kart tracks trying to find a good deal on 10+ people. I don't think the College Station autocross weekend apealed to many of you. Will update this with info as soon as I finish with my research. Once I pick the spot I'll post up the date about three to four weeks in advance.

Whatever is good. I don't mind either or, autocross sounds great, go carts sound great. I just can't get myself to install my rear disc conversion in this heat!
