Hey all. Just got back from the meet about an hour and a half ago. It was a small turn out but still a fun event. We stayed at the Town Center a little longer than expected (till 12:15 PM) and it was a pack of 4, consisting of Jason (Saved), his cousin, Ray with his boys, and myself.

If anyone used this address 3035 County Road 30, Angleton, TX 77515 when trying to head over to the park and got lost I apologize for that. I got the address from the park's site, google mapped it and the correct location showed up. My buddy tried to get to the park using that address on his iPhone and ended up on Smiley Road. Again, I do apologize for that.

Ray, it was great to meet you and your boys. Again, thanks for bringing the plates, napkins, and utensils. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and had a great time hanging out.

P.S. - The Sport bumper on the Base looked great, can't wait to see what you'll do to it later.

Jason, thank you and your cousin for coming out. In addition to bringing the sauce, tongs, and the entertaining stories. Along with your wonderful display of sportsmanship when people in Porsche pass by.

I had a great time guys! Maybe next time will be a better turn out. It's a shame more people couldn't make it. The weather was awesome. The driving was fun too!

I attached a link to the route I was talking about. I've done this many times on the bike but it's not for the weak at heart! This can be a lot of fun. It is a ways from the house. Light to no traffic and very sharp switch-backs.

Farm-To-Market Rd 3090 to Farm to Market Rd 244 - Google Maps

Looking forward to meeting up again soon!

-Ray

It was on Sunday actually, which is still considered part of the weekend if I recall correctly.

But I do understand your reason for not making it. It would be a hellacious drive from Tyler to Pearland and back in one day (not including our county road run).

Again Dee, it sucks to hear that you got lost when heading this way. Hopefully Vol. 7 will turn out better for ya.

P.S. - Happy belated B-day!

Hopefully I can get and figure out how to utilize one of those GPS contraptions by then.. With Mr.Bubbles about 35 minutes north of here and knowing that area it is a shame that we didn't head down that way together... I'll never go any place I haven't been before without a map and GPS... Dallas is where I grew up but left 24 years ago and I can't find may way around there at all it has all changed so much, even streets that I traveled on all the time... Getting old is a frustrating thing to have to deal with, especially being freaked out late at night when you go wake up to the bathroom and are frightened by the freaked out old face staring at you in the mirror..... It's alright, I'll take a chill pill and be able to go back to bed eventually.

Hopefully we can do another meet that I can go to cause I need to start using my camera again and I just got a new wide angle lens. As long as it is on a Friday or Saturday that works for me. But like I said, I would love to see some of ya'll try to make it down to Houston/Katy TX on March 18th! I would hate to be the only fit there
