20 cars started the DFW Map Rally, held on May 21, and 20 finished. They all reported having a good time. Cars entered included two Hondas, Kia, BMW, Mini, S2000, Mustang, SAAB, Subaru, Lexus, Jaguar....

Our next road rally will be held on July 9th. It will take its theme from FedEx, who has discovered that delivery routes defined with no left turns are safer and quicker than other routes. Always wanting to be on the forefront of auto safety, we have defined a scenic rally route from Plano to Princeton with no instructed left turns. We have also devised some tests that you can try along the route to keep from getting bored.

Yes, SCCA does this all over the US. See scca.com, and click on "Find a Region near you." Go to that Region's website, and click on Rally (if there is such). Or, in scca.com, click on Rally, then on Rally Events.

 

We already have one Honda entered. Just two more of you and you can compete for the Team Award, currently held my Team Zoom-Zoom (Mazda).

15 cars are preregistered, which means we will have about 30 cars on rally day. Who will make it 31?

 

This sounds like alot of fun. I have always wanted to get into a rally, too bad the opportunities don't present themselves. I'm going to check out the scca site again, last time I checked they had nothing in my region
