Tire/Rim Sizes?

Wondering what size tires/rims can be installed on the Fit and not cause issues? Been a while since I bought tires and never have for the Fit.

Ditto,

I see all this talk about camber, offset, rubbing, etc... how big/wide a tire can one put on a stock sprung Fit in both 15" and 16" wheels? (without needing to adjust camber/offset/deal with rubbing.

Go to Tirerack.com and check. Do you have a GD or GE?

I have been doing research on rims and tires recently, and I decided to purchase a set of 16"x6.5" Kosei K4R rims [$159 (each)] with 205/50-16 Yokohama AVID ENVigor (H&V) tires [$103.00 (each)]

For the rims, each of them is only 12.8lb in weight, which is much lighter than the 16" OEM rims (~19lb). Plus, they are manufactured in Japan! Another set of rims, Enkei Racing RPF1, are also recommended. They are even lighter (9.5lb), and they are pretty common on streets.

For the tires, TireRack.com recommended the size of 185/55-16, but there are so few choices of this size and none of them have good ratings, so I decide to use the size of 205/50-16.

Hope this helps.

My reading is pointing me twds 195/65/15"s. Why did you choose the 6.5 vs the 7?

The overall diameter of the original tire is 24", but that of 195/65/15 is 25.1". I don't know if this is going to rub your fender, you gotta check.
I did not pick 6.5", it just happened that the rim was 16"x6.5".

Really liking your choice...

thinking hard about the 15" version with 195/60's... which would be the same diameter as my stock Base 175/65/15" ?
