Hoosier Fit Owners Group logo?

Trying to get the Hoosier Fit Owners Group off the ground, I decided to tinker around a bit with a logo:

Also, without the "Indiana" outline:

Even in black and white, I think they look pretty good. T-shirts, decals, etc. would all look decent, I think. Anyone else have any ideas? I'm by no means a professional designer (I'm an orthodontist). This is just the best I've come up with, trying to make something that looks good with a splash of color, but would still look good in monochrome.

Feedback welcome.

Logo looks nice. Did you try using the Honda as the first letter in Hoosier? Just curious to see it if you did.

I did, and I also tried spelling Hoosier out in an all "Honda H" sort of logo (something I drew up, couldn't find one on the 'net), and it never looked quite right. I'd have to scan those in, as opposed to this one which was all done on the computer, so it looks a lot cleaner. I left the Honda H in the front and used the Honda logo font like I did because I've seen Honda's logo like that in the past (with the H, and then the word Honda spelled out behind it).

I saw someone else had put a T-shirt together on zazzle.com. I've not used them before, so I might look into it. And grouser, if we get decals, t-shirts, keychains (which I'm going to do for sure...they're cheap!) can Koozies or whatever made, if you want to pay for one, you can certainly have one.

Mostly, I'm trying to find out just how many potential HFOG members we might have, and how many, if any, would be interested in some HFOG gear.

I like the one with the state outline. Using the Honda H sounds like a cool idea. Maybe it would look better if the rest of the lettering was similar. Is there a "Honda font" out there somewhere?

I wouldn't get a bumpersticker, but a shirt, keychain, etc... might be kinda nifty.

Nice job!

The block lettering you see is the only "Honda font" I could find on the 'net. I looked for one made up of letters like the Honda "H" and couldn't find one. If you know of one, I'd appreciate it if you pass it along. Spelling the "Hoosier" with the Honda H and the rest in Honda font didn't look right no matter what I did.

Wow...so, almost six months with no reply? Either folks hate it, or they don't care. *shrugs*

Here's what I came up with. I realize that maybe it should just be "Hoosier" and not "Hoosiers"

Cool, but that wouldn't translate well to a unicolor die-cut decal. Would look good on a t-shirt, though.

Free vectorizing doesn't get it done (jacks up the font):

Guess I'm stuck waiting for my hand tracing.
