both of my estimates included checking the suspension. it ripped the drivers side of the front end off and bent the passenger side.

i wouldnt be able to pick it up from TOOL because hes in norcal and thats a long ass drive. (i would do it, but being home my dad has final say) and dont complain because youre driving 14 hours to that meet haha

i bet i could get it painted for under 100 dollars, but if your in cali i bet it'd cost double that, your lucky it needs to be black - it'll be easier to match, than my white

uh that one is unpainted too and shipping will cost you atleast 75 dollars, call em i'm curious !! i want this lip too, i told tool i wanted to get it at the tri city meet when i saw his in person, oh and his is painted already hmmm you should call him and swing by his place on your way down to your place then it wont be out of the way (take I-80 over to the I-5 and down)

i wonder if i could possibly go down and get another quote, but instead of them ordering an oem lip.. they got the j's lip.. could i do that?

 

you haven't talked to the school yet right? if not just get a bid from regulate (they have grand auto do thier bodywork) and he'll order anything you want, or maybe (brent) @ dent master would be willing to get you one but it might be a stretch, since he's kinda buy the book, but if your serious about it i'll call him and ask him for you, but i want to know that the school is in line to pay for this completely before i call him ( i dont mean they know about the j's thing just that they'll pay for the damages to your car)

 

i should get a call from their insurance company on tuesday or wednesday.. i'll go over to regulate tomorrow and get a quote from them and i'll go back to dent master and ask them. that would be awesome if i could have them put on a j's lip for me haha

ok so i got the quote from regulate on parts and it looks like the university insurance company will pay for the damage through regulate. which means i will get a j's front lip

and if they write me a check for dent master.. which is 400 dollars more (including the j's lip) i'll take the money over to regulate and pocket an extra 400 bucks haha

 

don't get too excited man, your gonna get hose'd trust me, insurance company's ALWAYS GET THEIR WAY

 

damn. youre right. i better get at least 1100 though. the lady that works for the school said that they are liable since it is their responsibility, and that theyd handle it.
