Ok, after some debating with the current active PacNW people out here, a meet n greet has been decided upon happening on Sunday, October 21st of this year.

So, here's the details:

Date: Sunday, October 21, 2007
Location: Golden Garden Park, Seattle, Wa. Address: 8498 Seaview Pl. N More info here: http://www.seattle.gov/parks/park_detail.asp?ID=243
Directions: Take exit to 85th St and head west. Follow 85th West to dead end at the bluff. Take a right turn and go downhill. Go under the railroad tracks and arrive at the entrance of the park. We will be all the way down the base of the hill, to the right.
Time: 12pm till 8pm (can go later )
What do you need to bring: Yourself, a guest (not required ), food/drinks if you want (also not required, if you do want to bring something food/drink wise, PM me), A canopy of sorts.
What will be provided: A place to park and show off your car, food and drinks (I will be bringing a bbq and enough burgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks for 10 people), the ability to meet current fit owners in the PacNW area.

I've got 3 confirmed people, besides myself, that have said they can attend on this date. I would love to make it a total of 5 confirm attends, including myself, but 4 will have to do.

can i show up with a different car ? such as..a RSX, but am planning on selling the car and get the Fit, but hopefully i can make it tho, it's sunday and i might have to work. i'll find out.

 

Sure, show in an rsx. I don't care really. Just good to meet the local fit owners and soon to be owners.

As stated, meet local is up in the air at the moment.

It may be in the everett area, might be in seattle, might be in tacoma.... I'll see.

I'm deffinately leaning more towards the everett area.

 

Tulalip is good place for the BC peeps, not too far for their drive, not like driving all the way down to tacoma, that hurts. haha..Tulalip has a big parking lot. ONLY if the weather is nice and we can hang out side. and not too far for us locals either. 30 some miles from seattle.

off topic: i wanted to know how much did you guys buy your FIT?! i am getting a lot of diff. pricing, just wanna know how much did you guys buy it when the car leave the lot. thanks much in advance. sorry for the off topic.

 

Bigg_Kidd, I can understand the BC folk's pain on driving long distances. From my house to Tulalip (the casino you mentioned) it's 90+ miles... but I don't have a border to deal with.

Now on the flip side we do have a member also driving up from oregon... so the miles and time to drive matters there as well. I'm still thinking on the best place to do this, will have a decision here soon.

 

aaah ok, gotcha..didnt know there will be oregon folks too. well, if you have some place in mind and bout to decide on it, then it's all good. but i just wanna make one more suggetion place, Alki? it's middle of both south and north?! good place to take some shoots for the camera guys, and a good slow drive from one end to the other...well, anyways, i didnt wanna whore on the idea...lol. i'll leave it up to you.

 

Actually, I know of a beach that shouldn't be too bad... it's near ballard so not to much of a drive and when i was there last (granted it was close to 11pm) the parking lot was nice and empty... but plenty of parking and maybe some decent shots.

Have to get ahold of a friend for the name of the beach again though. Golden something or other, I can't recall but it's north of downtown, I know that much.

edit: and no worries on the whoring for locations. You are the first to give me good actual placement suggestions.

 

it's called the Golden Gardens, Honda Tech monthly meets are always held there during spring and summer time. i know that place pretty well. not a bad idea. i am in on that place.

off topic again, so, anyone bought their FIT within a reasonable price? within 17k you are able to leave the lot..i wanna know so i wont be regretting it later. thanks in advance.

 

I bought mine used from South Tacoma Honda and got raped cause at the time, there was no used value, so yeah. I'll tell ya more about it in person. Don't buy a used one, that's for damn sure.

Well, I know I'm showing, you've said u'll be there plus the others above... I'm hoping for a minimum of 5 peeps including me, if everyone brings a guest, that's 10. If you invite more, cool with me. But plan ahead cause I'll only have food stuffs for 10ish people.

 

Ok, I know it's really last minute doing this... but I had to adjust the time from 10am to noon (12pm) due to the fact that I can't get there until that time. My SO decided that I have to take her into work and yeah, for those of you that have those, you know what I'm dealing with.

If you show at 10, that's fine. I'll just be there between 1130 and 12 depending on traffic.

4 hours i sat waiting. No one showed. Saw 1 Fit, he gave me a nod when he saw my Fit but kept on driving.
