Fit Meet @ IKEA today! 11:30AM!

Trying for the 2nd garage, if that isn't available then I guess we'll hunt each other down.

New here, looks like not much action in WA for the fit since the last post was back in 2014

I see Fits everywhere while I work. Sadly I last drove my Fit about a month ago.... Nothing wrong with it persay, just my job comes with a work vehicle and they pay for gas while I lease it for less than I'd pay in fuel a month for the Fit.

As far as meets go, I haven't been to a car meet in months, close to a year now...

How the hell is everyone else doing?

I'm still around and would go to a little get-together.
I've been retired 5 years and my SSM 09 5MT sport has 84k on it
I had to replace the rear motor mount and recently got Cooper tires because
my Yoko Avids wore out in 2 years with me only driving my 97yo Mom around
for an hour every day in No. Tacoma.
Go figure

I'm pretty sure the roads in Tacoma will wear out your tires faster than most lol.

Any meets I attend will have to be after the new year though.

Nothing really. Just seeing if there way anyone nearby that was active. It's helpful to have locals, that know what they're talking about. :-P

Not that this area seems super active, but I picked up a 2009 sport that I'll be running in Northwest Rally Assocation rallycross events, so I thought I'd say hi.

I'm running it in front stock the first year, so it's pretty low on mods. Other than catching up on maintenance, it's just rally armor mudflaps, custom skidplate by 425 Motorsports, front sway removed, and some upsized tires (205/55r16) to get me a 1/2" more ground clearance. Every little bit helps there lol.

If I like the car I'll bump it up to prepared or modified class next season. Basically that'll mean a proper Cusco diff setup the way I want it, suspension mods depending on what I feel the car needs for this unique application, and running proper rally tires. If I really feel the need for more power I'll slap on a turbo, but I'm hesitant to do that because it'd bump me up to modified class, where I'm competing with cars that would still have double the power. But I'd still be tempted, because turbo is fun. Part of it will depend on which classes people are running next year because not having any competition sucks, so I may just follow the crowd. I can always K swap it, but that'd eat up all my weekends for a while.

Too bad these cars aren't more popular with the car crowd in the US, I feel like they have quite a bit of potential as a FWD performance car.

nice k swap I was thinking about that on my 3 gen but I’m pushing 129 whp with mod and I’m not the fastest car in town but I have fun with it I do have the 6mt love every gear at 5500 rpm if it blows it blows but I have fun everyday with it
