Official fit meet in wa.
56K BEWARE! Lot's of Pics!
Alright, so I finally broke down and washed the Fit last week, but I still can't find my hose nozzle so I had to come up with a different solution. The solution turned out to be Griot Garage's Spray-on Car Wash. I've heard this stuff spouted out as being able to clean your car when you can't use the "hose and bucket" method for whatever reason, laws, winter, etc.
So I got a gift card this X-mas for Griot's and decided to give the Spray-on stuff a shot.
Here's pics of my Fit prior to washing:

Pretty dirty, gotta love all the winterization crap they put on the roads. Blech
So, I began with my Spray-on stuff and a nice, clean micro-fiber towel.
Here's what she looked like after I finished with just the Spray-on. Keep in mind, that I had a few days prior to all of this, I washed, clay-barred and glass polished my windshields (front and rear).

Oooh, looking clean!
Now, my car was heavily coated in this winter crap, so since I could only afford a 35oz bottle on the Spray-on, I switched over to Speed Shine to do the final touches. I also went and re-clay barred the windshields and clay barred the outside of the windows. I did not do any interior cleaning.
Here is what she looked like after I was finished:

Now, the reason you don't see any passenger side shots is due to poor lighting in my garage. But isn't she shiny?! There where a couple spots that I did not see down low due to poor lighting, but Speed Shine took care of them the next day.
Just wanted to give you guys a peek at what 4 of the Griot's Garage products can do, even if it's in the middle of winter, freezing outside, and you want a clean car.

It's all good. Nothing wrong with stock. The only upgrades I did to mine were for necessity. First was the Zeta Dead Pedal, a must if you own a GD3. 2nd was replacing the stereo due to the fact that an accident killed the stock one. 3rd was the addition of an amp and a pair of subs. Other than being dirty inside and out, it's as stock as I can get it.
Can you take a pic if your subs? I got three 10s that I want to port over from my accord. I'll probably just do one or two, cause the 1700 watts I had powering three was pretty taxing on my accord battery.

My subs are nothing to write home about. Just a pair of Rockford Fosgate Stage 1 8" powered by an Orion amp. 100w rms subs, but they good enough to give a nice massage as you drive. I reccomend a capacitor if you go over 200w with the Fit's tiny battery. I'm gonna get one eventually because certain bass hits cause my headlights to flicker.

Ah, mounted..... I dont keep them bolted down, so I have them wedged in so they don't move around.
Here is how my trunk looks for the most part:

I keep the subs facing the rear seat, amp in-between, and something between the wall and the right sub to keep everything together while I drive. Have had no issues of sub shifting and you can ask the others how "calmly" I drive.
That's not too bad. I think I'll have to go a different route to keep my cargo functionality though. In my accord I have them in a neat box sitting in the hole that feeds from the trunk to rear seats. It bumps the back bench pretty well. LOL
Hey Eric! good to hear from ya!
Since the core group seems to be replying now, who is down for meeting @ Ikea, or across the street in the empty parking lot, with the wagovans on the 12th?
the wagon guys would need a month in advance reply since not everyone is so active.
btw matt only a few wagons are actually wagovans. most are dx and a few like mine are rt4wd. kinda like calling every integra a type r.
eric i will just text you for the meets.
