I would be down, but their may be a chance that I can't go since my weekends are usually busy. When's a good day for everyone?

So I don't know when yet, but I've decided I'm going to make a drive down to Crater Lake, OR sometime this summer. Probably take a Friday or Monday off and go on an extended weekend. It's about an 8 hour drive from Seattle and, if you've never been, worth every second of it. I don't expect much reply to this notion, but wanted to invite you all along and see if we can get a weekend set that works for some of us.

Does any know the OR Fit guys well? Going to invite them also.

let's plan something! let's get the fit wa crew active and get together for some bbq's and stuff. weather has been gorgeous out lately. how many of you are active and willing to do this, now I know there would be at least 2 fits so far willing to come out and play. let's do this!

sat or sun could work, what's a central location for everone? somewhere in seattle? maybe hit up a park to have a bbq? or would you guys rather do like a restaurant meet where we can park our cars together?

BBQ at a park would be nice since its been so nice out. Seattle would be good or anywhere near there since we have more members from down south.

Wow, look at the stuff going here!

Had an idea for a meet that may be of some interest. My parents are currently campsite hosting @ alder lake and have suggested doing a meet out there.

So, if anyone is interested, we can do a quick meet-up and then do the drive out to lake for a bbq/picnic.

There are 2 routes that we can take out there, one is a nice, scenic route that goes through Eatonville, the other is a twisty drive that goes around Eatonville. Quick word on the twisty route, last month 4 "racers" were arrested for speeding up and down the canyon late at night.

What are your thoughts?

^let's do it! as long as your rents are ok with it of course. we can schedule it for like a weekend up there, set up a new thread for just that meet, day, locations, and we can get a list of ppl to go and what not.

The rents suggested it to me.

I'll get a new thread going, but we'll have to keep updates in this thread as alot of people just monitor this thread.

that'll be easy, we'll keep advertising the other thread, what do you think? like end of august meet? like last weekend of the month, that'll give plenty of time for everyone to get free time and plan this out

How far of a drive ared we talking? I got a newborn coming along and she don't like car rides. If its a day thing I may just head out on my own.

from my house it's about a 45 min drive to the lake. I live in the Spanaway. So add the time to get down to Spanaway plus 45 minutes.
