Hell yeah, saving is hard.

My goals for this year are to
a) pay off the credit card
b) pay cash for Vacation (June) and Christmas
c) continue to save so that my s.o. can have a new car with a huge down payment (for low monthlies) by the end of next year.

a will help facilitate both b and c...lol

I don't own any credit cards so I have zero debt. I have a $107/mo insurance bill and $60 phone bill. Soon I'll have a $500 rent bill lol.

I didn't do my brakes today. It was 90 degrees outside, my neck is red as hell and hurts, I drank 4 bottles of water in 2.5 hours out there working to take apart the dash panels (it all had to come the hell out to remove the carpet under the stereo area)
Here is the aftermath when I put it all back together. OH when I removed the seats I found a nasty q-tip, a black&mild wrapper, and 2 bobby pins all from the previous owner. lol

can't get the hood-release thing to get tight again. Looks retarded. Also the panel that usually covers all those wires, has been broken since I got the car. One of the tabs on the dash broke off so only one side screws on. I need a 90-93 dashboard so the hole where the passenger airbag is will not exist.

^ I keep picturing this shot with the X-brace rollbar, Corbeau seats and harnesses. Sigh...

Amanda, my paper is actually 3 questions, each has to be 2 pages. I'll probably just do it all tomorrow since I want to get wasted tonight (Happy cinco de mayo btw). It's on:
1) imagine yourself as Plato and Confucius evaluating the politics of today. After giving a complete description of each of their political views, discuss how they each might criticize our current political situation, both domestic and international. In the end, do you believe they have important things to tell us?
2) Take a look at our environmental situation. How bad is pollution today? State facts and figures. Explain the views of Leopold and Chief Seattle. What do you think they would recommend that we do? What should we do? (Explain the views of Aristotle, Kant and Mill and then use one of them to make your case for what we should do).
3) Do you think that Americans as a whole make informed and wise decisions about how to live? Give some examples. Explain what Midgley and Aurelius might recommend. And finally, do you begin to see what it takes to live a life that is wise? in what ways? Will you attempt to do so? Do you think it will be difficult? Can you see then why philosophy might help you? (You don't have to answer this with a yes if you don't think so. Give an honest answer. I prefer honesty and it won't hurt your grade if you argue your case well).

Lol...this is going to suck!

I don't think you can properly answer any of those questions in just 2 pages! At least I couldn't. But all of them are boring. :P God, philosophy sucks.
