I have a V1 hardwired in my Fit, although it is by my mirror not on the dash as you want. I used a Scotchlock RadioShack.com - Cables, Parts & Connectors: Connectors & connectivity: Crimp connectors & terminals: Wire Tap-In Squeeze Connectors (10-Pack) to tap into the cigarette lighter for power and put the Direct-Wire Power Adapter inside the under dash panel on the passenger side. I used these RadioShack.com - Cables, Parts & Connectors: Wire & cable management: Wire clips & holders: Telephone Adhesive-Backed Clips (9-Pack) to run the wire up the side of the dash, I then tucked the wire under the passenger side windshield pillar trim (using caution as this is also an air bag) and headliner to the mirror mount. I also have a Concealed display mounted in the "cubby hole" by the small window on the drivers side. I used the same clips to run the wire up the side of the dash for this too. I used one of these The Radar Mount for the Escort or Beltronics to mount the V1 to the mirror as I have an aftermarket mirror, this mount WILL NOT work with the factory mirror.
